Organic Fertilizer
Biogas produces organic fertilizer through food or animal waste, and it is broken down by microorganisms in the absence of oxygen this process is known as anaerobic digestion. It comes with natural sources, and they comprise a minimum of one essential nutrient to feed plants. Organic fertilizers support sustainable agriculture, improve soil and plant health, and protect the environment. The biggest pro is it is a great alternative to synthetic fertilizer.

Organic Fertilizer from CBG Plant

Organic fertilizer can be produced from compressed biogas (CBG) plants as a by-product called Fermented
Organic Manure (FOM):
What is FOM?
- FOM is a rich source of organic fertilizer that is produced from biogas or CBG plants.
- FOM can be used to enrich farmland. To use liquid bio-slurry as fertilizer, mix it with water at a ratio of 1:1 or 1:2.
- FOM is a key part of the CBG industry, making up 20% of the input feedstock in CBG plants. The Indian Biogas Association (IBA) says that fermented organic manure can reduce India's fertilizer import costs by at least $1.5 billion.

Benefits of Organic Fertilizer
01
Derived from natural sources, organic fertilizers are biodegradable and environment-friendly. It is a great alternative to synthetic chemicals, they minimize the environmental footprint of farming and gardening.
02
Organic fertilizer is free of harmful chemicals, so it is a great option for food production and in environments where people, pets, and wildlife come into contact with soil.
03
Organic fertilizers support sustainable agriculture, which improve plant and soil health. It improves the soil structure and water-holding capacity and encourages earthworm and microbe activity.
04
Organic fertilizers can be made of waste material such as animal manure, making them affordable and renewable energy sources. A farmer can often produce their organic fertilizer, reducing cost and dependence on commercial products.
What We Do
Our Services
At Green Grass Bioenergy, we provide an overreaching range of biogas solutions to help you turn waste into renewable energy. Whether you’re looking to generate electricity, heat, or renewable natural gas, we have the expertise and technology to make your biogas project a success.
- Compressed Bio Gas (CBG)
- Biogas from Waste
- Napier Grass
- Compressed Bio Gas (CBG)We remove hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, and water vapor and compress them as Compressed Bio Gas which has a methane content of above 90%. Compressed biogas stored in LPG cylinders and made transportable.
- Biogas from WasteWe offer comprehensive organic waste collection and management services, turning your agricultural, industrial, or household waste into clean energy.
- Napier GrassNapier Grass (Pennisetum sp.), also known as Elephant grass or Uganda Grass as it is inherent to African grasslands. Napier grass is a perennial tropical grass.
Other Advantages Of Organic Fertilizer
Organic fertilizers support sustainable agriculture, which improves plant and soil health. It improves the soil structure and water-holding capacity and encourages earthworm and microbe activity. It contains organic carbon which supports beneficial bacteria that break down and cycle nutrients. It is made from a natural material that would be thrown away. It also provides a longer period of crops than synthetic fertilizer.
